claim this past summer was 4th hottest on record in the US, "with many cities breaking all-time heat records." Their claims are farcical and have nothing to do with reality. Only 4 of 1,218 USHCN stations set their record this year

A major reason why "educated" people are often very much easier to fool than ordinary people: People who have real-world jobs (think farmers, carpenters, truckers, etc etc) are constantly having their work and their thinking tested against hard reality. People who have parasitic elite "jobs" can afford to live in a delusional cocoon, a world of models and wishful thinking, completely unmoored to reality.
